A male and female, both 6-7 years old, had been used for breeding. They had apparently lived on short chains, outdoors all their lives and lived in deplorable conditions.<!--more-->They were seized along with a group of dogs from a woman who had 5 previous citations for animal abuse.<\/p>\n<div align=\"left\"><\/div>\n<p align=\"left\">The\u00c2\u00a0were in the care of the county and the county was looking for rescue. Photos indicated that these two were probably mixed breed dogs. They had been cared for indoors by the county humane society and were healthy enough to be spayed and neutered. I arranged to have that done so they would never be used as puppy mill breeders again. I helped the county find a local all breed rescue organization that was willing to\u00c2\u00a0take the &#8220;heelers&#8221;\u00c2\u00a0in and they were looking for caring, forever, indoor homes.<\/p>\n<div align=\"left\"><\/div>\n<p align=\"left\"><strong>Female (aka Vivian):<\/strong><\/p>\n<div align=\"left\"><\/div>\n<p align=\"left\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.aucado.us\/photopost\/data\/\/602\/female1.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<div align=\"left\"><\/div>\n<p align=\"left\"><strong>Male (aka Scott):<\/strong><\/p>\n<div align=\"left\"><\/div>\n<div align=\"left\"><\/div>\n<p align=\"left\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.aucado.us\/photopost\/data\/\/602\/male4.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<div align=\"left\"><\/div>\n<p align=\"left\">Good news!
